I found it!

This is from TIME Magazine's web site. It is a quote from Frank Gaston Jr.

Every chromosome worked, the minute he moved. I don't know if you've ever seen when he was going to court [in 2005], he got on top of his car. Even in that moment, he didn't dance like he was on top of his car, he danced like he was onstage. He danced like every chromosome was working, right there, on top of a car. And when you really look at that tape, when he jumps on top of the car, he hurts his knees. He has to land on his knees when he jumps on the car from the ground. But even though his knees were in pain, he still gave everything he had. If you rewind it and look at it one day, you'll know what I mean.

Cheryl,

This was a beautifully written and thoughtful response to the film.

And thanks for the name check!

I'm currently giving away my MJ Tribute Song on my web site. You've heard it, right? I'm sure we've discussed.

Reading about the mysteries of Michael as compared to the mysteries of science, I was reminded of something I read after he passed away. I wish I had copied the interview, but it was from a dancer/choreographer (he now choreographs for Beyonce and others) who had danced with Michael in the Smooth Criminal video. He said something about the molecules in Michael's body being different than other people's.

He also spoke about the day Michael got up on his SUV and semi-danced in 2004, at his arraignment. Do you remember that? Michael took a lot of heat for that, but I know he just wanted to thank his fans. It was completely auto-pilot. That's what the creature that was Michael Jackson does: please his fans. The choreographer spoke about that moment, in particular how Michael hurts himself as he jumps onto the car. He lands on his knees, which must have been painful. But rather than show any pain, he just continues on and waves to the many who loved him.

I'll leave you with a quote from Michael:

"To live is to be musical, starting with the blood dancing in your veins. Everything living has a rhythm. To feel each one, softly and attentively, brings out its music. Do you feel your music?"
